Has anybody run into this problem? If so, any solutions?
I ordered inventory and before it was received, committed product to a customer.
(Ordered 12 dozen gloves, inventory was at zero stock. Committed 2 dozen to a customer. Inventory was received in, order filled. Later in the month, 3 dozen to another customer. Inventory should show 5 dozen in stock but shows 3 dozen).
As I run into this situation often (committing inventory prior to receipt), I'm looking for a solution since I don't have the staff to do full inventory counts on a monthly basis.
Appreciate any assistance.
